My relationship with photography has existed since I was very young, and I still find myself questioning why I hold such fascination with ‘capturing’ occurences in my daily life with a camera. Existing theories often refer to photographs retaining something, somehow mitigating our sense of loss and the passage of time, or as a process of accepting ourselves and our place in the world. I appreciate these ideas and can often connect my own uses of photography with them. On reflection, I feel there still lies much to discover.
