An impossible freedom

‘An impossible freedom’ (2014) is a project combining handwritten text alongside a series of black and white photographs.

Although in this series a sense of oppression might be conveyed through the representation of enclosed domestic scenes and use of blackness, viewing also allows for freedom of interpretation, and potentially a sense of resolving the seemingly unresolvable.
