Rooms (2013) utilises childhood portraits cut from vintage family photographs to explore my remembered experience of growing up, placing them in miniature constructed scenes to bring together different moments of personal history. Much like memory, chronology is confused with different props representing different periods and experiences.

I have rediscovered some unused images from this project.  It is interesting to reflect on the decisions I made at the time.  They were tests and never intended to be seen/shared, kept for five years in a folder called ‘do not use’
